Legacy

It's no secret the work we do for New Zealand children depends upon your goodwill.
You can help Ronald McDonald House Charities make a difference to New Zealand children well into the future by choosing to leave a legacy. Please talk with your solicitor to ensure that your wishes are legal binding.
Your options for a legacy include:
- Fixed monetary amount for the use of general purposes which can be made programme specific
- A stated percentage of your assets/estate
- The gifting of certain assets/estate
- The gift for endowment
Your bequest may be for a stated amount of money, it may be a share of the entire estate, it may be in relation to a specific asset, or it may be for all or part of everything that is left over after you have provided for family and friends. Your solicitor can help you to find the right words to give effect to your wishes. If you are planning to leave a legacy or bequest please:
- Get professional advice with drawing up your wishes
- Discuss all the terms and conditions with your solicitor
- Appoint competent trustees and executors to ensure any special conditions are met
- Talk to us about what you would like to do
