Ata Te Kanawa is a Senior Communications and Engagement Advisor in the Māori Economic Development Unit of the Ministry of Business Innovation and Employment. She is the founder of Miromoda – The Indigenous Māori Fashion Apparel Board and the former independent publisher of Tu Mai magazine. Ata is actively involved in the wider Māori community and committed to fostering iwi engagement with RMHC New Zealand.
