These terms and conditions apply to the use of this website.

Whilst exercising this care, RMHC New Zealand does not accept liability for any losses or damage arising directly or indirectly from reliance on the content of this site.

References and links to other organisations or their websites are intended for the convenience of users, and do not constitute an endorsement of any websites, organisations, or individuals outside RMHC New Zealand. Nor does RMHC New Zealand implicitly endorse individuals or organisations that link to this website from their own sites.

Privacy

Any personal data you transmit to the site by electronic mail or otherwise, will be used by RMHC New Zealand in accordance with our privacy policy.

Making a donation

RMHC New Zealand collects and uses personal information from donors including: names, addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses and donation dates/amounts.

We use this information to:

  • provide and distribute receipts
  • send out donor acknowledgement letters and thank donors for their donations
  • keep supporters informed about upcoming fundraising initiatives and other activities of RMHC New Zealand
  • communicate to our supporters through direct mails, email and newsletters.

Receipting

  • Receipts for online one-off donations are provided via email or letter, once the payment has been processed.
  • Regular giving donation receipts will be issued at the end of each financial year. Refund and Cancellation Policy All transactions are processed in $NZD.
  • One-off donations cannot be refunded.
  • If you wish to cancel a regular donation you must contact us, and provide us with 10 working days’ notice.
  • Any refunds will be at the discretion of RMHC New Zealand. If you have made a donation you need to withdraw or dispute please contact us at [email protected]

Use of Text and Images

RMHC New Zealand reserves all copyrights on material within its web pages. If you would like to publish information or imagery that you find on our website or wish to use the RMHC New Zealand logo please contact the fundraising team: [email protected]

We reserve the right to amend information on the website and within the privacy policy at any time. By continuing to use this website after any changes have been made, you acknowledge that you will continue to be bound by these terms.

Terms and Conditions for House to House 2025 Survey Promotion:

  1. Entry into the Ronald McDonald House Charities® New Zealand (RMHC® NZ) House to House prize draw is open from 9.00am Wednesday 16th April, to Wednesday 23rd April 11.59pm.
  2. The giveaway is open to individuals who participated in the 2025 House to House fundraising campaign and complete the feedback survey. 
  3. Participants must be New Zealand residents. 
  4. One entry into the prize draw will be given by completing and submitting the House to House 2025 survey. 
  5. Entry into the prize draw is deemed acceptable of these terms and conditions and the RMHC NZ Privacy statement.
  6. Five (5) winners will receive a $50 Virtual Prezzy Card each - delivered via email.
  7. The draw will take place on Wednesday 15th April. The 5 winners will be drawn randomly and will be notified by email and/or phone within seven working days. If RMHC, has used reasonable efforts, is unable to contact the winner within three business days of the draw, the prize is forfeited and further draw(s) will be conducted. RMHC NZ's  decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  8. RMHC NZ decision is final. The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash.
  9. By entering the prize draw, the winner agrees that RMHC NZ may use his or her named photographs in any media for promotional purposes for a reasonable period of time.
  10. Any further terms and conditions of RMHC NZ will apply in addition to these terms and conditions. To the extend of any conflict between the two, these terms will prevail.
  11. Prize will be delivered via email. RMHC NZ does not accept responsibility for any that may be lost, damaged or missing.

Privacy statement: Your information is being collected and held by RMHC NZ for the purposes of conducting and administering the prize draw. You have the right to access, and to request correction of, any personal information held by us by contacting [email protected].
