These terms and conditions apply to the use of this website.

Whilst exercising this care, RMHC New Zealand does not accept liability for any losses or damage arising directly or indirectly from reliance on the content of this site.

References and links to other organisations or their websites are intended for the convenience of users, and do not constitute an endorsement of any websites, organisations, or individuals outside RMHC New Zealand. Privacy

Any personal data you transmit to the site by electronic mail or otherwise, will be used by RMHC New Zealand in accordance with our privacy policy.

Making a donation

RMHC New Zealand collects and uses personal information from donors including: names, addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses and donation dates/amounts.

We use this information to:

  • provide and distribute receipts
  • send out donor acknowledgement letters and thank donors for their donations
  • keep supporters informed about upcoming fundraising initiatives and other activities of RMHC New Zealand
  • communicate to our supporters through direct mails, email and newsletters.

Receipting

  • Receipts for online one-off donations are provided via email or letter, once the payment has been processed.
  • Regular giving donation receipts will be issued at the end of each financial year. Refund and Cancellation Policy All transactions are processed in $NZD.
  • One-off donations cannot be refunded.
  • If you wish to cancel a regular donation you must contact us, and provide us with 10 working days’ notice.
  • Any refunds will be at the discretion of RMHC New Zealand. If you have made a donation you need to withdraw or dispute please contact us at [email protected]

Use of Text and Images

RMHC New Zealand reserves all copyrights on material within its web pages. If you would like to publish information or imagery that you find on our website or wish to use the RMHC New Zealand logo please contact the fundraising team: [email protected]

We reserve the right to amend information on the website and within the privacy policy at any time. By continuing to use this website after any changes have been made, you acknowledge that you will continue to be bound by these terms.

House to House Prize Draw 2025 - Terms and Conditions:  

  1. Entry into the Ronald McDonald House Charities® New Zealand (RMHC® NZ) House to House prize draw is open from 9.00am Monday 20 January, to Sunday 9 March 11.59pm. 
  1. One entry into the prize draw will be given by being an Individual participant of RMHC® NZ House to House 2025 listed on the House to House fundraising page under “Individual's” Leaderboards • House to House 2025 and raising $234 or more before 11.59pm 9th March 2025.   
  1. Entry into the prize draw is deemed acceptable of these terms and conditions and the RMHC® Privacy statement. 
  1. There are 10 prize packs to be won. Each prize pack includes the following items: 

1 x teddy bear, 2 x house to house towels, 4 x house to house bucket hats, 1 x child’s backpack, 2 x lego sets, 1 x puzzle set, 1 x federation tote bag. These prizes may vary from the images shown. 

  1. The draw will take place on Monday 10th March. The 10 winners will be drawn randomly and will be notified by email and/or phone within three  working days. If RMHC®, having used reasonable efforts, is unable to contact the winner within three business days of the draw, the prize is forfeited and further draw(s) will be conducted. RMHC® NZ's  decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 
  1. RMHC® NZ decision is final. The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash. 
  1. By entering the prize draw, the winner agrees that RMHC® NZ may use his or her named photographs in any media for promotional purposes for a reasonable period of time. 
  1. Any further terms and conditions of RMHC® NZ will apply in addition to these terms and conditions. To the extend of any conflict between the two, these terms will prevail. 
  1. Prizes will be posted to the winners. RMHC® NZ does not accept responsibility for any parcels that may be damaged or missing.  

Privacy statement: Your information is being collected and held by RMHC® NZ for the purposes of conducting and administering the prize draw. You have the right to access, and to request correction of, any personal information held by us by contacting [email protected].
